This Privacy Policy explains how Jun Murakami (legal name: Jun Takahashi, the "Developer") handles personal data in connection with creating an account, purchasing, activating, and using the software synthesizer "Synth-80". For site-wide practices, please also see the site Privacy Policy. Payment information is handled by our third-party payment provider (Merchant of Record), as described below.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address (required), display name (optional), the sign-in method you use (email & password / Google / Apple), and the user identifier assigned by our authentication provider.
• License information: license ID, product name, issue date, and the associated account.
• Purchase information: checkout is processed by an external payment provider that acts as the Merchant of Record. The Developer receives an order/transaction reference and your registered email address, but does not collect or store payment details such as credit card numbers.
• The plugin itself: your activated license is stored locally on your device. The Software does not transmit usage data or "phone home"; license verification is performed entirely on your device (offline).

2. How We Use Information We use the information collected for the following purposes:

• Creating and managing your account
• Issuing, delivering, and re-issuing your license
• Responding to inquiries and providing support
• Preventing fraud and abuse

3. Legal Basis (where GDPR or similar applies) We process data based on performance of a contract (providing your account and license), the Developer's legitimate interests (fraud prevention and service improvement), and your consent where applicable.

4. Processors and Third Parties To provide these features, we use the following services:

• Google Firebase (Authentication / Firestore): used for account authentication and storing license information. Provided by Google LLC (Google Cloud); data may be stored on servers in the Asia region (asia-east1) and processed globally.
• Payment provider (Merchant of Record / seller of record): a third-party payment service we use processes payments, billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes as the seller of record. The provider's name and privacy policy are shown at checkout and in the receipt email you receive.
• Google / Apple: if you choose to sign in with these providers, their authentication services are used.

5. International Transfers In connection with the services above, your information may be stored and processed outside your country of residence (including on Google servers in the United States).

6. Retention We retain related information while your account and license remain active. Upon a deletion request or account closure, we delete it promptly to the extent reasonable.

7. Your Rights You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, and withdrawal of consent. To do so, contact us below; we will respond after verifying your identity.

8. Security Licenses are issued in a digitally signed, tamper-evident format, and payment information is not retained by the Developer. We apply reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold.

9. Children's Privacy This service is not directed to individuals under 16 years of age.

10. Changes to This Policy This Policy may change due to legal or other circumstances. The revised Policy takes effect when posted on this Site.
